A Day in the Life of an Office Dog at The Lakeside Park

For dogs at The Lakeside Park, every day is Take Your Human to Work Day! Our tenants love that they can bring their pups into the office with them.

Here is a typical day that showcases the “ruff” life of an office dog at The Lakeside Park!

A Typical Day in the Life of an #OfficeDog

9:00 a.m. Teleconference with my fellow pups in the neighborhood. Let them know I’m super busy at work but I’ll be home after 6pm and may be able to come out and play. Make a date to meet them at the doggy park at 7pm.

9: 30 a.m. Attend our morning meeting and pretend to look interested!

10:15 a.m. Playtime with the humans. I’ll keep looking cute as long as they keep giving me these treats!

10:37 a.m. Bathroom break. Met a new friend from down the hall!

10:48 a.m. Monitor all loud noises, passing cars and every single squirrel outside. Must. Keep. Dad. Safe.

11:07 a.m. Discover crumbs on the ground and clean them away. Find nerf gun bullets and eat those too. Keeping our office clean is of the utmost importance!

11:12 a.m. Nap time. (Must sleep at least 10 hours a day for full creative capabilities.)

11:30 a.m. I’m up, I’m up! Time for back scratches and more belly rubs.

12:00 p.m. Woof! It’s lunchtime! I can’t NOT wait. Gimme all the food. Nom nom nom. Beg to go outside to play by the lake.

12: 15 p.m. Get outside with my owner for a walk around Lake Quannapowitt. Chase some butterflies. Life is good.

Fast company

12: 47 p.m. Get snuggled by random strangers because I’m so darn cute. I’ll take it.

1: 15 p.m. Lunch was exhausting. Zzzzz.

2:04 p.m. Search for pictures of sneakers that I’d like to have [chew]. Print them out and post them all over the office to remind owner to buy them. Need. New. Chew. Toys.

2:15 p.m. Bored. Dad’s on the phone again talking jiberjaberrish. Decide to take some selfies with my friend down the hall, Nola. She’s quite cute, wouldn’t you say?

2: 22 p.m. Need attention. Must. Get. Cuddles. From. Humans.

2:45 p.m.  Look busy.

3:00 p.m. Attend extremely important meeting scheduled by yours truly. All employees must attend.

3:35 p.m. Time for some office pranks! Steal human’s glasses and watch as they frantically look all over the office for them. Admire how good I look.

Scared not scared.

3:50 p.m. Break time again. Get outside and enjoy some sunshine and playtime by the lake!

4:00 p.m. Wow, what a busy day at work! All this play time and treats has me zonked. Time for another nap.

4:15 p.m. Uh-ohs. Big boss is coming down the hall. Quick! Look like we’re working and actually getting stuff done. [Googles: “peanut butter dog treats”]

5:00 p.m. Woohoo, heading home. What a fun day at work. I accomplished SO much today! I can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow!

So, there you have it. A typical day in the life of a pup at The Lakeside Park! Have your own pictures you’d like to share of the #officedoglife? We’d love to see them. Share them with us on social media and tag #lakesideparkpups or #officedogs!
